Nice British Bake Off kicked off with a toe-curling kitchen nightmare because the model new sequence started tonight.
In unbelievably tense scenes, contestant Sura went to swat a fly when she by accident whacked 4 of Dave’s pineapple the wrong way up desserts on the ground as they went to position their bakes on the desk for the judges.
Simply when everybody thought that Iain Watters throwing his Baked Alaska within the bin after it was faraway from the freezer by contestant Diana Beard in 2014 was peak Bake Off catastrophe, 2020 handed over a model new contender.
Sura gasped as she realised her catastrophic error, telling Dave: ‘I’m so sorry! Oh my God.
‘There was a fly. I went to shoo it away and I knocked it. I’m so sorry.’
A cool and picked up Dave replied: ‘Don’t fear about it, it’s tremendous. I’m positive they will go by what they seemed like earlier than I introduced them over.’

Solely two of Dave’s desserts survived the ordeal and judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood had requested for six an identical bakes for the technical spherical.

If that wasn’t sufficient drama, Sura went onto win the technical problem spherical, with Prue and Paul praising her baking efforts.
Viewers couldn’t consider their eyes and crammed Twitter with memes as they shared their shock.

‘If somebody knocked my desserts off accidentally I’d RIOT,’ wrote one.
‘I’m so wired after that I’ve simply eaten an entire packet of Revels,’ added one other.
